Booking Changes and Charges

When you make a reservation through Joyfares.com, please be aware that any changes or cancellations to your booking may be subject to fees set by airlines, hotels, cruise lines, car rental companies, or other travel service providers. These fees vary based on the provider, fare type, travel product, and specific booking conditions.

In most cases, change or cancellation requests should be made at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled departure, although some providers may require more or less notice. To avoid unexpected charges, we strongly recommend contacting our customer support team to review the rules that apply to your specific reservation before requesting any modifications.

Ticket Refund Rules

Most tickets and travel services booked through Joyfares.com are non-refundable, in accordance with the policies of our travel partners. If your fare or booking type allows cancellations, any approved refund may be issued as a travel credit with the same provider and in the same traveler’s name, subject to their terms and expiration conditions.

All cancellation requests must be submitted before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations made after departure (including “no-shows”) are generally not permitted. If you use a credit toward a new booking, you will be responsible for any difference in fare or price. Our support team is available to explain applicable restrictions and assist you with the process.

Cancellation Fees and Refund Eligibility

The following is a general guideline on how cancellation penalties may be applied, depending on how far in advance you cancel:

Refund Eligibility and Process

To qualify for a refund, your booking must include fare rules that permit cancellation, and you must submit a refund request through Joyfares.com. Bookings that are not used (“no-shows”) are typically non-refundable. While we may request waivers from suppliers on your behalf, approval is entirely at the discretion of the travel provider.

Once your request is submitted, you will receive an email acknowledgment with a tracking number. This confirms receipt of your request, but does not guarantee approval.

If approved, refunds are processed according to the provider’s policies and may take 60–90 days to appear on your original form of payment. Please note:

If a provider declines your refund request, any applicable post-ticketing service fees paid to Joyfares.com may be returned within 21 business days, where applicable.
